Antique Identifier: Scan & Value helps identify and appraise antiques from photos. This policy explains what information is processed and how it is used.

Information we process

• Photos you scan or import for antique identification.
• Generated item details such as item name, era, origin, materials, rarity, value range, and condition notes.
• App usage events, diagnostics, and crash reports through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
• Subscription entitlement status through Apple StoreKit.

How photos are used

Photos are sent to our secure AI processing endpoint to generate identification and appraisal information. Photos are used to provide app functionality and are not sold.

Saved collection data

Saved scan results and condition notes are stored on your device using Apple app storage unless a feature clearly sends content for AI processing, such as expert chat.

Analytics and diagnostics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose stability problems. This helps improve onboarding, scanning, paywall, and collection flows.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive subscription entitlement status but do not receive your full payment card details.

Third-party services

The app uses Apple services for purchases, Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and hosting, and Cloudflare/OpenAI-powered services for AI processing.
